One thing I appreciated more while ff'ing through this was the use of stylized color schemes, like the brown and blue of the shot above or the red, blue, and yellow of this one:
I guess paint and costumes are a cheap way to acheive a distinctive look.
The end of this chase is one of my favorite cinema non-crashes ... the camera spins, we hear tires squeal, a zoom into a cracked windshield (but we never see any crash at all) and a cut to an overturned car (obviously a different one).
The director is renowned for his thrift.
