Yes, unfortunately I saw the new ad. It's just as excrutiating as the 3 Doors Down clip. And why must they be so fucking long!??

Shit, am I the only person who's never seen a military recruitment ad in a movie theater?
I went to the Mayhem fest this summer (metal bands Slipknot, Disturbed, Dragonforce, Machine Head and and a bunch of others) and there was an Army recruitment tent there. And about fifteen feet away a bunch of people were sitting on the grass smoking pot.

I really dislike both the song and the video. I'm sick of sitting through stuff like this while waiting for a movie to begin. Especially at my local theaters where they tend to start playing ads when the movie should be starting.

This is hilarious, I was just commenting on this crap tonight. I went to the movies earlier this evening and saw a giant cardboard cutout - what looked like a movie standee - of the National Guard. Then, before the movie, I saw that 3 Doors Down ad and I'm like WTF. I've only seen them at Cinemark Theaters (i.e. Century), not at the Regal so I think they may have some sort of deal with them.
