Hounddog: Whatever happened to it?
Just checked imdb and there's no date of release for theaters. Does anyone know If it will ever get a theatrical run? Was it picked up by a studio? I'm guessing it will most likely get a straight to video release, which seems weird that a movie with Dakota Fanning would get thrown out. Was it all from the controversial rape scene?

It's out on DVD now. I just watched it - rented from Netflix.
It's actually pretty good. The rape scene is pretty intense - altho they don't really show anything.
Be prepared to hear Elvis' song, "Hound Dog" a bunch of times tho!

Well, I had hoped there was a thread discussion on this movie, because of all the "controversy" surrounding it, but all I found was this one - so I thought I'd respond to it for ya!
