Le voyage dans la lune (1902) directed by Georges Méliès. Although I think he did several versions, so this may be a later one.

Parts were included in Around the World in 80 Days (1956), and probably other movies as well.

It is a fairly straight forward, short film. No much character development or plot, but fun sets and some crazy special effects (the zapping of the moon people). Saw it in a film class this year and enjoyed it.

Your English appears perfect, and is certainly better than that of many of the native English-speakers here, and I'm sure that very few people here could do nearly as well in German, French, Italian and/or Rumantsch as you've done in English. Welcome to DVDTalk.

I'm still learning English, since two years now, so I'll be better

Only two years? That's incredible. I studied more than two years of German and Japanese and I can't do much with either. Kudos to you.

No, not many at all.

In college I studied in Bavaria for 3 months and took nearly enough German classes to have a minor in the language and yet all I mastered was what I call bar-German. Small phrases such as:

"Ich mochte zwei bier, bitte."

"Wo ist das W/C"

"Du bist sehr schoon."
