This may be the best film of the summer.

I dunno. It looks like a whole lot fun (and I adore the hell outta Final Destination 2) but Drag Me To Hell is gonna be tough to beat.

2 & 3 are coming out on BD in Canada on 7/7, though I would imagine all of them will be available in the U.S. when 4 hits video.

Awesome. I suspect that this will be the first flick I see in 3-D at the theater.

Great trailer. Hasn't this movie been sitting on the shelf for awhile? But glad it's finally getting a release date.

Wow, I'm impressed at the outpouring of love for the second one. I could have sworn it had a ton of backlash when it came out.

As for 4, it looks damn good. Then again so did 3 from the trailer, so we'll see. Oh, and the car wash thing looks awesome.

I don't think it has been sitting on the shelf at all - they've always been eyeing a late summer/fall release for it as far as I've heard.

I think 2 was the weakest one, but they're all so much fun. And 3D now!

They were originally targeting a March release date, similar to the last two, but couldn't get the effects done in time along with the fact that My Bloody Valentine 3D came out a few weeks prior.

With this one occupying an August 28th release date, but Halloween 2 is scheduled for the same day, I wonder if this one will move to a different date? I kept expecting to see that announced, and then the trailer and poster simply said "August" but all information online still says August 28th, including the official site. Oh well, if it does get changed, perhaps we'll get it a week or two sooner, so that might not be bad.

Personally, I'd love for it to go head to head with Zombie's piece of shit.

Re: Final Destination 4 -- In 3-D

So, tell me again why they're releasing Halloween 2 in August and not, say, around Halloween. Seems to me it has a better chance in Oct. There will be a lot less competition.

Of course, didn't they do this with part 1 too? Release it in August.

There's three weeks in October that Saw VI will not be opening up on.

There's also a month called September too. It worked for My Bloody Valentine 3D when it opened in January.

That makes sense... I definitely knew it wasn't a case of it being DONE and sitting on a shelf, shuffling release dates.
