G.I. JOE movie: Sienna Miller cast as The Baroness

Sienna Miller is The Baroness!
Check out the story here: http://www.superherohype.com/news/topnews.php?id=6539

I think it's great casting, certainly better than having Milla Jovovich. For anyone not so happy with the casting, check out Miller in Factory Girl. She's just nuts in that flick. And all British actors can do any accent with ease.

I guess I'll have to check out Factory Girl because I've never seen her in anything.

There's a new hippie movie where you'll see her in NOTHING. Best to wait for that!

I've been in love w/ her since FOX's fantastic, but short-lived, series - 'Keen Eddie'.

She already wears nothing in Factory Girl. Didn't much care for FG, but her performance was decent so I think she can easily pull off The Baroness.

I'm more curious to see who gets the Destro and Cobra Commander parts since they seem more difficult to cast since you'll likely never see their faces.

She was the girl in Keen Eddie? I loved her in that show.

Destro and Cobra Commander, if they're keen on not pulling a Stallone/Judge Dredd, would probably be actors with strong voices or voiceover experience. Mark Hamill as Cobra Commander? Michael Ironside as Destro?

I was thinking more along the lines of Kate Beckinsale.

A quick photochop was done here:

Essentially, she already played the part in GoldenEye (looks and accent at least).

Destro is scottish, and history has proven Ironside and Highlanders don't mix.

Just figured I'd put a post quoting this so everybody can see my signature block.

Oh, and I suppose the casting is okay. Didn't watch the cartoon enough to know if it's good or not.

I'd see her as The Baroness

And after seeing that video...I realize Destro look like a silver Telly Savalas.

Now all we need is Destro to be in a Godfathers Pizza commercial and try and sell Players Club cards to get the full effect.

I was kind of hoping for either Angelina Jolie(guess she's played it enough in other movies already) or Monica Belluci, but Sienna might make it work. I just hope she doesn't OD on the accent.

Looks like the same guy who did the special effects for the 80s FF movie:
