Meh.

The story was way to predictible, although I thought that Jess Weixler turned in a great performance. The scenes with the nuclear plant in the background were only amusing the first 5 or 6 times. The first "ring" meeting was also great, but the second fell on its face.

I don't want to give to much away, but I enjoyed this enough for a single viewing and had no interest in seeing it again. I did not expect that to be the case.

Just watched this... it was cheesy in parts, but I think purposely so for comedy. I liked it enough to recommend for a few laughs, and some really fucked up nasty scenes. I honestly can't believe some of the shit from this movie could be shown while still being R rated, versus NC-17 or whatever... I actually had to turn my head away a couple times.

This is definitely a concept film, and not much more. Great idea, great setup, horrific and amateurish execution. For a 90 minute film, it just drags on forever. I called the finish literally 10 minutes into the movie. For the subject matter, it should have been way funnier/more ghastly. Instead, it's just boring. Skip it.

I just got my review copy...what a bummer. It had a get premise but was just so damn boring. Only a few times does the inner Graboid bite. The DVD is actually fairly loaded with commentary and deleted scenes though.

I knew I'd find a few great lines after a couple people finally got a chance to see it.

at "the Inner Graboid" joke

Spoiler:
But wouldn't an Inner Graboid be a penis that ate things? Worms are phallic, technically.

Still might check this one out.

To those that bought the DVD....is their disc art similar to mine?

I'm looking to sell mine and I am not sure if its just my copy (as I got it early) but as the picture above shows, on the disc art there is a silhouette of "Teeth" as well as a picture of the leading lady. It appears it is not colored in...but I don't know if this is on purpose or not.

I got it as a review copy directly from Dimension (well, Paramount I guess) 2 weeks ago. I am asking if anyone else's copy looks like mine, or if its unique (or a factory error).

If any of you all really dig Teeth be sure to track down the original: Killer Pussy (renamed Sexual Parasite for US distribution).

It's hysterically bad!!

I just bought my copy retail from Newbury Comics, and it has the un-colored silhouette of Teeth and the girl on it as well.

I was mainly upset that we never got to see the teeth. Saw plenty of bitten off weenies, but not the thing that did the biting... oh well.

watched this over the weekend and "enjoyed" it. And by enjoyed I mean i was constantly crouched over in pain. I liked the humor in the film, especially scenes with the rings, or them trying to choose what movie to see. The main girl did a great job with the transition between innocent virgin to manhood ender. I have a feeling that this is the type of movie where the sequel can be a lot of fun now that they have set up the characters origins.

totally agree here...this movie never claimed to be for everyone but for that truly twisted genre audience who "gets" it...it's a fun ride with a great finale payoff.

I don't understand how people here can call this film 'boring' without explanation...how could a premise so original be labeled a bore?

I can see why some people would call this boring because it does take its time to get to the meat of the movie, and even then its not that much. I liked it becasue it took its time, it didn't go the cliche horror route. I don't think I would of liked the film if 5 minutes in she was ruining mens lives forever before ending the movie at the prom.

i agree 100% - i'll take 10 of these "boring" horror movies over a shitty j-horror remake or a platinum dunes remake or a pg-13 slasher.

Netflix shipped it today. I'm looking forward to watching it.
