Reading another thread made me think of this. I remember seeing a movie years ago and don't know the name of it. I think its set in Alaska. It has a family that has moved there and the father i believe works for an oil company. The children in the movie manage to find the secret location of Santa Claus and his village of elves or whatever and their secret hideaway is in jeopardy due to the plans of the oil company. All i remember other than that are a good number of Candy Canes being used as set decoration and for some reason i remember the mother being someone like the actress Catherine Hicks. The movie might have been made for TV...but not sure. Any suggestions?
