My contribution the the excitement of more Scully and more X-Files.

I can't wait...if only they could take back the finale.

I simply can't bring myself to go that far. In hindsight, it would have been better to end it earlier, but I STILL think that you can't wipe away 2 seasons and Doggett (who was very good) and Reyes (not good, but not as bad as people say) completely. I still grew to care for them in the context of the X-Files world.

So, while 8 was not good and 9 was dreadful, I think I could have lived with it had the finale been even remotely good. In my opinion, it was one of the worst finales ever and terribly unsatisfying in almost every way that it could have been.

While I'm going back down memory lane, I also hated how they ended the Samantha storyline. Chris Carter doesn't know how to end things, I guess.

I guess it's a good thing that the movie is another stand-alone...or so I've heard.

She looked absolutely beautiful in person. David looked great too.
I think we are in for a good ride.

I wonder if Gillian still thinks she's British. (Yeah I know she lived there as a kid) She starred in some recent movie called "Closure" and spoke with an English accent. She also did an interview with CNN a few years ago and spoke with an English accent.

A lot of people adopt the accent of the area they live as a child. It's not a conscious thing (usually).

So what if she did? Why does that bother you?

While season's 8 and 9, were pretty rotten, I feel that you could have plucked enough stand alone (monster of the week) episodes from both seasons, to maybe make a 14-16 episode final season.

Ok, put them in spoilers even though I didn't think it was necessary.

I figured the Spoilers warning and the huge gap between typing and pictures was sufficient.

Why?

Everyone knows they were together at the end of the series, why would these pics be that huge of a spoiler?

I was listening for that accent when I saw her in person and there was maybe just a touch of it.

So does anyone know how this movie is going to work, exactly?

It looks as if they're working with the FBI on a creepy case. But when last we saw M&S they were out of the bureau and on the run...

They should do a Se7en style X-Files movie with S&M. Real dark, real depressing and real gritty, that would kick ass.

Yes and Scully would be forced to do lots of undercover work.

8mm didn't exactly light the world on fire.

Serious, yeah! For a movie that is supposed to open in a little over 4 months, where the heck is a trailer to build up some excitement?

Exactly. And if they try to ignore that, it's going to make zero sense.
