I hated the first movie, and yet I'll be seeing this because of friends who will drag me to it.

The only "would be" selling point for me is that Megan Fox IS hot but she has NO personality and no screen presence as an actor! I like movies with actresses that can actually, you know, ACT! So even though I will get a boner while watching the movie, I'll be pissed off because the performance won't seem to merit it for me.

C'mon man! If you're going to require the ability to act from your actors you're going to ruin the careers of numerous hotter than hell talentless actresses and deprive the world of seeing them in skimpy outfits.

That is a risk I am perfectly willing to take. Once I'm directing movies (seriously, by the way) I will make sure to only cast talented hotter than hell actresses in roles that require them to wear skimpy outfits. And maybe I'll only do that every other movie. Or something like that.

Again the ONLY actress in the world who can an amazing actor AND outrageously gorgeous and make it work it Monica Bellucci.

On topic: I hope less human hijinks more Robot action. I think we may get that...it's Transformers...though it'd be interesting if we had a full on serious take on these things. Well...much more serious than it is..cuz it's not. It's...The Transformers.

Saw the bit from MB about the IMAX cut, and I think I am going to give "The IMAX Experience" one more try, just sit closer to the screen.

Cheap Trick is still around? Wow. I wish they'd use Stan Bush's Dare (I like it much better than The Touch) somewhere in the soundtrack.

what mini-IMAX theatre do you go to?

gonna bypass the IMAX-lite theatres and see this in true IMAX/70mm form - the number of scenes actually shot with IMAX cameras/film is up by one scene, from it's prior three scene annoucement.

I wish the real IMAX near me would show these movies instead of all nature stuff and then things like Night at the Museum II. The last non nature/kids movie they showed was The Dark Knight.

That video is classic, love the "voice of Michael Bay:" scene. "She's hot, she's super hot, ok, explosion!"

Glad to hear it. I really liked his work on the score of the first movie. Particularly the Decepticons theme. The chanting was really eerie and fitting. I wonder what he'll do for the Fallen.
