I don't mind them. Balls of Fury looked funny to me based on the trailers, although I heard the actual film sucked.

I guess I still have a juvenile sense of humor.

I really hate well over 99% of these types of movies. I mean, they'll never compare to the absolute king of juvenile comedy, "Animal House", and other greats like "Dumb & Dumber", "Up In Smoke", etc. "Superbad"? "American Pie"?!? Get the fuck outta here.

I would say Superbad is more mature than any of those films.

These movies would be tolerable if they were hard-Rs.

Frequent full frontal female nudity makes everything better.

Neither film is worth me going out to see but I will certainly rent Balls of Fury and I can see myself buying Mr. Woodcock later on down the road. I love silly movies and stupid shit now and then. Being serious all the time is no fun and movies like these are a nice distraction.

I have to agree with this. It was okay for Bad News Bears, I guess, but then we got School for Scoundrels and now this.

I think Billy Bob has just been exceedingly bitter since losing Angelina, and these roles are a reflection of that bitterness.

Or not. I don't know. That's all I got.

I agree. I know that some people like these mindless, run-of-the-mill bottom-of-the-barrel comedies but I'm not one of them. They aren't funny and they don't add anything to their respective genres. I'd say I don't expect much from their stars, but Billy Bob has shown he can do quality work with Slingblade and we all know the awesome power that is The Walken, so these guys need to be a little more discerning when selecting scripts. I'd much rather see 5 quality comedies come out in any given year than be inundated with 30 that mostly all suck.

Wouldn't you be? IMHO, this is completely understandable....
