Is Jenna Jameson's life really worthy of having a movie made about it?
Jessica Simpson Turns Down Porn Role

Although they do not say which role she turned down, Jessica Simpson's father/manager says the actress turned down the chance to play a porn star in an upcoming movie because the role was just "too risque." The funniest part of this whole thing is that, apparently, the folks who offered her the role also promised her an Oscar. Says pops: "The last script that came to us was for Jessica to be a porn star. We were promised we would win an Oscar with that. I was like, 'We'll just buy a little man (Oscar) and keep our clothes on.'" Wait, did he just say he's going to buy his daughter an Oscar? And are the filmmakers that desperate to get a name -- any name -- for their film that they're promising Oscars? I hate to say it, but showing your big boobs on the big screen is not going to win this little lady a golden statue. It'll land her a spot on the front page of Mr. Skin -- and that's about it.
They don't say the role, but I imagine it might have something to do with that planned Jenna Jameson biopic. Keep in mind this is just me speculating, but word had it the folks behind that film (and Jenna herself) originally wanted Scarlett Johansson for the role. I imagine it has to be pretty embarrassing for Jenna that it's gone from Johansson to Simpson ... and the latter turned it down! If there was ever a point where you might begin re-thinking whether your life story was worthy of the big-screen treatment, I'd say offering the lead role to Jessica Simpson and having her turn it down might be a sign to quit while you're not ahead. As much as Papa Joe keeps trying to turn Simpson into a major movie star (coincidentally, that's also the name of her next movie), it's just not happening. Recently it was reported that Joe had a big hand in yanking Simpson's newest flick, Blonde Ambition, from the release schedule because the competition was too great and (to quote an insider) "Jessica gives a terrible performance." Hey, but according to some, she's just one nekked role away from an Oscar. So what do we know?

Re: Jenna's life. I mean really, who cares!? She's a porn star for Christ sake. Are we going to get some "wahhhh, I had such a bad life" story that leads up to her fucking for money? Thought we got that with "Boogie Nights". No self respecting actress will do this part and NO ONE will be nominated for an Oscar for it. Let alone win.

Everyone knows that for an actor to win an oscar it's not their cloths they have to take off but the amount of make up they have to put on and make themselves look ugly with.

It's kind of funny when you think about it, because Joe Simpson is basically a suitcase pimp.
And, yeah, I really doubt Jenna Jameson's life story is particularly movie-worthy. And if this does get made, expect it to hit big at the Razzies rather than the Oscars. (Though I suspect Jennifer Lopez is begging for this to happen, because I'll wager that Jessica Simpson in a Jenna Jameson biopic would make people forget about Gigli.)

I think I remember reading that she had a horrible childhood and adolescence. She was raped several times and ended up using her porn career as a way to regain control in her life (and men) or whatever. I'm not saying that it's worth making a major motion picture over, but it's definitely a fucked up story (no pun intended).

And yes, for you inquiring minds, the alleged action appears to have been girl-on-girl.
Jameson was at a house on Newport's Balboa Peninsula prior an early birthday party -- the real one's Wednesday -- at an Anaheim club when she allegedly battered someone. She was placed under arrest by the alleged victim, law enforcement sources told TMZ, who then flagged down a cop who cited Jameson for battery. Though she was later released on her own recognizance, it's unclear whether the AVN Hall of Famer made it to the party.
Jameson briefly made public a different version of events on Monday.
"Wow just got robbed by a friend @britneymarkham she accused me of gusting her, and broke into my home and took everything," the former porn star tweeted Monday, according to the New York Daily News, before deleting the tweet. Britney Markham is Jameson's assistant. ("Gusting" can mean "a sudden outburst.")
Markham replied on Instagram, with a photo capture of her boss' tweet, "NOT TRUE! How could u say that u attacked me and im@in the hospital becouse of u." With a separate picture showing herself in the hospital dated Sunday, she wrote, "This what u did to me and u accuse me of stealing."
Orange County prosecutors will assign the "How to Make Love Like a Porn Star" writer a trial date if they find they have enough evidence to charge her, L.A. Now reported Monday.
