Damn. I could go for that. Also, the Incredibles & Unbreakable are no brainers, being superhero flicks and all.Originally Posted by The Bus

I don't think Ferris Bueller would work. Part of the charm of the original was him getting away with what he did without being caught. If I take a day off work, I take a day off work. No one gives a shit.

I've thought for years that a sequel for Ferris Buellers Day Off would be a good idea. Ferris and Cameron take a day off work (or both miss work for some reason) and relive that day as adults.
I had the same idea ywears ago for that movie. The problem is that the plot device is bollocks. Phoning in sick is not quite the same as missing a day of school and having the principle chasing after you. I guess with the allegations against Jeffrey Jones about being a child predator the idea of him chasing down three children puts a new spin on that movie.Originally Posted by JZ1276

Well I don't think it would be aiming for the same things at all. I could see them becoming adults and getting used to their routine and lose most of what they had when they were younger. Their day off would be symbolic and would be something they desperately need. Maybe their lives wouldn't turn out as great as they hoped, and they would go on somesort of adventure to find themselves. Admittedly it could be lame, especially if John Hughes wrote it, and with the same poorness he has recently.Originally Posted by james2025a

I wouldn't mind seeing them try though.

Maybe they could give one of them a pressing need to be somewhere, like if one of them needs to be in court or something. Maybe Cameron didn't pay child support to that first girl who didn't respect him.

The problem I would have with this is that Ferris Bueller's life wouldn't have turned out anything less than great. He's Ferris Bueller! Everything works out great for him.Originally Posted by Drop

Re: Ferris Bueller's Shore Leave -- Ferris and Cameron have joined the Navy and are up to their old antics while on shore leave in Thailand. Will they make it back to the ship in time? Or will they be left behind in a perpetual Bueller-esque dream in Phukhet?
Citizen Kane 2: Rosebud Sleds Back: That's right! Rosebud, the daughter of Disney's lovable mutt Airbud, stars as a bobsledding newspaper mogul! Look for a cameo by the Cool Runnings team!

I would have loved to see the supposed trilogy, too bad CoR bombed at the box office. I knew it was in trouble when I read that Vin Diesel said Chronicles of Riddick was gonna be the Star Wars of a new generation.Originally Posted by Wolf359

I'd say Ronin, but I really don't want them to ruin it. I'd happily watch another heist flick with DeNiro & Reno, though.
A prequel to Layer Cake could be really good.
I'm definitely going to see Hellboy 2: The Golden Army in 2008, I've been waiting for that.
I'd see sequels for any of these: Super Troopers, Zoolander, Made, Out of Sight.

I cant believe it took 3 pages to get to Serenity...but thats definitely my first choice as well.
Id also love to see another X-Files movie, and the suggested Leon sequel. Also, Ghostbusters 3, although it would cause me to wonder "what if" in regards to the awesome movie that could have been made if Chris Farley hadnt died.

Hadn't heard that rumor. I'm glad it didn't get made then. I wouldn't want to see that overrated hack in the Ghostbusters series.
