Dennis The Menace - my thoughts
I just rented a DVD with some episodes of Dennis (the 80's cartoon version) - it was a trip back in time
It was goofy, but kind of funny
Man, I hadn't seen most of those shorts in nigh on 20 years. Fishing for Trouble, Future Fortune, Time Bomb, Whale of a Tale, Abomninable Snow Menace and It Came from Planet Dennis were ones I hadn't seen since Channel 4 used to show them in the 80's/early 90's.
Some of the other shorts including Here Kitty!, Circus Berserkus etc also appeared on an old UK tape from the 80's, which I still have.
I give the cartoon 3/5 (maybe 3.5).
I never knew Henry Mitchell was Phil Hartman.
I mean the Dennis cartoon based upon the Hank Ketchum (Ketcham?) comic strip BTW - despite the title - I beleive that in the UK it was just called Dennis (possibly to avoid confusion with the British "Beano" character).

I quite liked the live action version (the first one) back in the day. I also remember something called "Just Dennis: The Movie" - a live action film from the 80's.

Walter Matthau was the Best part about the live-action movie. Funny Guy.
I think their may have a direct-to-video sequeal with a different cast.
