Question about RottenTomatoes....

I go off of the "user" ratings using this site, noticed with Transformers, fans seem to dig it, the critics don't...my question: Has a flick ever been outranked by "critics" over "users"?

For some reason, the first movie that came to mind was the Solaris remake. I just checked RT: the critics have it at 64%, users 60%. I'm sure there's others.

I think that there are plenty. If you rank the movies by their critics' ratings, you can find these films quite easily.

In most cases the differences seem to be small. But there are also big some differences. For example, from this year's films, Rolf de Heer's Ten Canoes has 95% from critics (92% from cream of the crop), and 66% from users. That's quite a big difference.

Actually, this is a fairly interesting observation. I wonder if the need to be politically correct in print vs. the anonymity of the Internet has something to do with this particular case.
