Oh! someone already posted this, so here for context

Right at the 3 minute mark, he is tasting his disappointment.

Ah ha! It’s never as it seems these days.

This could qualify for my “Stupid Stunts to Launch a Reality TV Show” thread.

There were typos scattered throughout the article as well. Nothing major, but it's a sad state of affairs these days, with copy editors few and far between.

If only word processing applications had some sort of built-in check for spelling and grammar.

2-3 hours?! When I held the Asteroids World Record back in '81, I played a single game for 36 hours, 43 minutes.

I work with a guy who is fairly high on that DK high score list, he keeps filling me in on the situation. Playing trivia tonight with him, I'm sure I'll hear all about it, including any inside news there might be. He doesn't consider this Mitchell a "friend" by any means, but he knows him and has hung out with him as recently as last month.

It sounds like they could take this news about Billy Mitchell and make a sequel documentary titled "The King of Kong 2: Game Over"

So according to Wiki, the current record holder played for 58 hours. Um, wow.

Re: The King of Kong - A Fistful of Quarters

When you play for that long, sometimes you earn so many free plays you can actually just leave, let players die, and take a break. One of the recent stories mentioned that. A player actually had time to eat, and take a quick break.
