Maybe because these aren't the only four people who work for Pixar?

I agree with both megashock5 and Rogue588. Cars ranks near the top of my favorites from Pixar. I love them all, actually, but, if I had to rank them, Cars would be near the top. I don't understand why some people don't enjoy it, but, I love the heck out of it!

Having sat through the first 20 minutes of Happy Feet last night (Oh, the humanity!), I have a new-found appreciation for Cars.

I still think it's a misstep, but as missteps go, it's pretty minor.

A second trailer for "Wall-E" has popped up on the Ratatouille video game. Quality isn't the best and it doesn't show much . Taken from Comingsoon.net
A second teaser trailer for Pixar's WALL•E is already online and can be viewed here! The teaser is found on the new Ratatouille video game and is a commercial for the robot which you can buy at the fictional Buy n Large. It includes the URL BuynLarge.com, which isn't active yet.

The YouTube video no longer exists. This one works:

I respect your opinion, but you're quantifiably insane. The Incredibles is not only one of the best Pixar films, it's one of the best animated films and I would say that it's one of the best films of this decade. (I agree with IMDB that the only better animated film since 2000 was Spirited Away).

WALL-E is the story about the last little robot on Earth. He is a robot that his programming was to help clean up. You see, it's set way in the future. Through consumerism, rampant, unchecked consumerism, the Earth was covered with trash. And to clean up, everyone had to leave Earth and set in place millions of these little robots that went around to clean up the trash and make Earth habitable again. Well, the cleanup program failed with the exception of this one little robot and he's left on Earth doing his duty all alone. But it's not a story about science fiction. It's a love story, because, you see, WALL-E falls in love with [Eve], a robot from a probe that comes down to check on Earth, and she's left there to check on and see how things are going and he absolutely falls in love with her.
Wow - I already feel bad for the little guy.

I'm not all that excited about Ratatouille but I'm sure we'll see it soon. I felt the same way about Cars - didn't see that until DVD but I enjoyed it.

For me, they hit a high point with The Incredibles but this looks like a big step in the right direction.

I'm assuming the trailer before Ratatouille is what is posted here, but I have to say I wasn't impressed at all.

I don't understand people disliking this trailer. It didn't really give anything away, just introducing us to the character. The whole thing with the introduction of how the story came about was interesting, and that the lunch they had on that day, led to some great films.

I've NEVER walked away "impressed" by any early teaser trailer from Pixar of this nature. They always just give you so little that you are kind of like, "HUH?" when you see them. They never give away anything of the story, they just exist to show you a character and a tiny bit of animation and the name of the movie.

However, they have always delivered good movies to back up these trailers.

From a French site, posted at Gizmodo.com, a new teaser trailer for WALL-E!

http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/trailers/...?autoplay=true

It's basically a slightly extended version of what we've already seen, with the new WALL-E themed Pixar intro.

Better version of it, here:

http://www.allocine.fr/video/player_...3734&hd=1.html

It's the French site. Just let the advertisement play, then the video will come up.

English version from Yahoo.com. Smaller video size.

Watched the trailer the other day and thought Wall-E looked incredibly cute. A minute and a half and the little robot already seems to have a ton of character and emotion.

Something about him patting the Pixar light on the head made me smile.

There are a few similarities, but they are nowhere near identical.

Looks like a cute and entertaining flick. Can't wait!
