Actors that looks the same
Can anyone think of any actors that resemble other actors (facial features that is)?
I can think of a few: - Cameron Diaz (when The Mask was released, she was compared to Ellen Barkin) - Skeet Ulrich (compared to Johnny Depp around the time The Touch was released) - Sam Huntington (Jimmy Olsen in Superman Returns) looks a lot like Nick Swardson (Jeff, the guy with the sweet race car bed, in Grandma's Boy) So who else? ** My apologies if this topic has been posted already (it's kind of tricky to search for). |
Gina Gershon and Carly Pope

Kyle MacLachlan, Matthew Perry and Orlando Bloom. Someone should cast them as brothers at some point.
The eerie resemblance between Leelee Sobieski and Helen Hunt has been noted by many. |

Joseph Cross and either of the Ashmores, which I tend to mix-up in and of themselves.

Will Arnett and Patrick Wilson look like twins. I could've sworn I saw GOB several times in Little Children. And Edward Norton might be Haley Joel Osment's brother. Others:
Kyra Sedgwick/Elisabeth Shue Timothy Olyphant/Warren Oates Adam Brody/Colin Hanks Gwen Stefani's son/Leopold "Butters" Stoch (I'm not kidding...I saw a picture of him in a bear suit. I wish I was making this up.) Sean Preston Federline/Garrison Keillor/Rosie O'Donnell/John Merrick Victoria Beckham/a CHUD Fergie/Mickey Rourke (post-Botox) Some of those aren't really ACTORS per se, but I could go on all day with those joke entries. |
Jeremy Davies and Henry Thomas look alike in some films.

Timothy Olyphant and Josh Duhamel.

Timothy Olyphant and a younger Billy Bob Thornton
|
Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen.

|
Benjamin McKenzie and Russell Crowe

I want to make a film where Jason Lee, Ryan Reynolds, and Dane Cook play a group of brothers and Ben Affleck can be their distant cousin.

Penelope Cruz & Paz Vega.

Michael Madsen / Tom Sizemore (I always used to get them confused)
Andre Braugher / Isaiah Washington |
I don't see how people can confuse Michael Madsen and Tom Sizemore. Or Bill Paxton and Bill Pullman.
Dennis Quaid these days should play Harrison Ford's brother. |
I know that relatives shouldn't count, because you kinda expect them to have some resemblance, but I always think that Alan Hale, Sr. and Jr., should get a special mention, since they looked exactly alike.
Also, when I saw Spy Kids 2, I couldn't get over how much Emily Osment resembled Haley Joel. At first I thought that it was HJ playing the role in drag as a cameo. Probably no one has seen these, but years ago public television caried a series called Matinee at the Bijou. Each show recreated a typical 1930s-1940s theater program with a newsreel, cartoon, short, and feature (I think all of the films were public domain to keep down costs). One of the features was Palooka and featured James Cagney's younger brother William, who looked exactly the same as JC. |
