Best Movie I haven't seen Yet Theatrically?

I seen all the big movies this year, but I have some free time and want to see something I've missed these last months. So what's the general consensus?

Away From Her
Black Book (Zwartboek)
Disturbia
Fracture
The Invisible
Vacancy
Waitress (when it comes here in Omaha)
Year of the Dog

I personally wouldn't rush out to see any of those in theaters (they'd play just as well on video, unlike something along the lines of Grindhouse), except maybe Black Book which I've wanted to see for a while.

If you've seen Law & Order tv series, skip Fracture.

I thought Vacancy was pretty good. The pacing and suspense was just right to make a cliched movie move along quick enough to be very entertaining.

I know June is stacked with movies, but I had some time to kill and I like going to see movies at the theatre.

I've heard good things about Fracture and Disturbia.

I'm bypassing Shrek 3 b/c is looks godaweful but I'm down the week after for PotC 3 and maybe Bug.

Close call for me between Fracture and Vacancy, but I think I lean a bit toward Fracture.

Zodiac. Have you seen Hot Fuzz yet? That's my top recommendation.

Of course, Kudama. Zodiac is the best film (as of May 15th) in 2007. Hot Fuzz is really close too. Yep I've seen all the big ones.

Just the ones I've posted I'm interested in seeing. Fracture it may be. I looking to go maybe tomorrow or next Monday. I'm bored ya know.

Did you read the threads on Fracture and Disturbia?

IMHO, Fracture was mediocre at best, and Disturbia was above average.

The Lives of Others
Grindhouse
Gwoemul (The Host)
The Namesake
The Hoax

In that order. (I don't know if any of these are still playing). I saw both Fracture and Disturbia. I ranked Fracture higher but Disturbia might be more fun in a theatre.

Dont believe the hype. Fracture is a movie that has been done a million times before, its not clever, its not anything new. Disturbia is the Rear Window of the MTV generation. I personally have wanted to see vacancy, but other than that i dont think theres that much im aticipating. Ill see shrek probably and pirates, but neither im that pumped about.

I can't tell if you're praising it or not with that statement.

For what's still available: Black Book and Waitress. I'd also recommend Zodiac and Grindhouse, but last time I checked, they're not playing anywhere near me anymore.

Both Fracture and Vacancy were rehashed pieces of shit.

Out of that group, I'd see Fracture first.

Year of the Dog is absolutely terrible. Avoid it at all costs. The only other one of your list I have seen is Disturbia, which is above average.

I second the motion of The Lives of Others, though.

The Lives of Others I really wanted to see and it did play here, but time wasn't on my side, so I have to wait for dvd.

I should make points clear: That's the eason I avoided "Disturbia" in the fist place, I couldn't get over that it was Rear Window. Fracture seems to be split, some really like others don't.

I think Waitress is opening next week or so ere in my area.

Black Snake Moan (just a little bit)
