I know different people have different tastes so i'm not insulting the people who liked it. That said

I for one am glad there was no ice pick around while i was watching Spiderman 3 or i would have been tempted to poke my eyes out with it. I guess the salt from the popcorn would have ended the suffereing, but would have been too painfull.

Spiderman 2 for the best for me. I absolutely loved Doc Oc

Or like saying Batman and Robin is better than Batman Begins.

Spider-Man 3 could have been the best but it needed more villains and other periphery characters.

Spider Man 2 is a great, great Comic Book movie. It set the bar VERY high.

Spider Man 3 doesn't quite match it, but it is still a VERY entertaining movie.

Spider Man 1 - Great way to start a comic book movie series. Right now I'd rank it just below #3, but not by much.

Spider-Man 1 and 2 are basically the same movie, but with different villains. Spider-Man 3 was different and better for it. I liked the cheesiness of it and thought it was by far the most entertaining of the trilogy. I want to know what the people are smoking that thought it was the Batman and Robin or Superman 4 of the series? Gimme a break

I agree and thank you for posting this...
Spider-Man 3 had many of the same flaws as one and two but it also had many of the same strengths as the first two films did...IMO the comedy works better in part three...
and also IMO the ending for all 3 films are rather weak when compared to the rest of the films...
Yes, Venom is wasted, there are some corny lines, the big sand thing Sandman turns into is pointless and a waste of money(not to mention a waste of a good actor like THC), Aunt May continues to make speeches that are worse than those we hear at the Oscars,.
But come on, there is nothing in Spider-Man 3 that is as bad or as offensive as the costume for the Green Goblin from Spider-Man 1...
I dont know why the hell so many people are bitching about this film and comparing it to Superman 4 or Batman & Robin. It is a natural extension of parts 1 & 2 and does nothing to undermine these films and IMO it makes the previous films even richer when considered as a series/triology and that is a compliment that I feel it deserves...

You know, although I had problems with it, I think 3 was better than 1 & 2... At least I had fun with this one. Part 2 took itself way too seriously, and 1 was just hampered by a poor villian. At least dark Parker is better than whiney Parker.

I'm a sucker for origin stories. If nothing else, Spider Man 1 could've done much, much worse. Therefore, it gets my vote.

Venom deserved better. 10 minutes as a side villian isn't enough.

I liked all 3, but to me 3 I like better than 1.
By the look of the poll it should have been who liked 1 or 3 better.
2 is a no-brainer to be the best.

Sorry, just my opinion. Even though I loved #2, I thought how #1 handled the origin story and the first experiences with the powers better than I could have hoped. As far as Green Goblin's costume... I though the way they did it was as realistic as possible.

2>1>3

I have watched two a few times, so I have to like it somewhat. I thought the first missed a lot of points, but I still bought it on DVD. I won't even buy the third, so, it'd go 2>1>3.
