This looks about as exciting as a new Mummy movie. I'll wait for reviews.

Looks far better than the Mummy movies, IMO. I know video game movies are usually total shit, but this one looks great.

I've noticed that Disney has taken off the "Walt" in it's credits lately. I first noticed it in the Old Dogs previews and now this where it just says "Disney Presents". Not a big deal, just something that caught my eye.

Jake Gyllenhall is pretty laughable as a Persian prince.

The movie does look good but couldn't they have gotten someone better.

i'll watch it. but it's just silly to me when he (gyllenhaal) is the prince.

I think Jake looks pretty close to the way the Prince looks in the recent games.

Plus he'll get wives, girlfriends, and women in general in the theater.

And heterosexual men who are comfortable with their sexuality and find him an attra... er... not me per se, just saying in general...

Agreed! He's a horrible choice for this film. Not only is he not a good actor, in my opinion, but his attempt at an English accent is just plain bad. His delivery sucks as well

This may be a cliche casting choice, but Depp could have pulled off the role with far more aplomb than Gyllenhall ever could hope to. It really does have a "Mummy on a bigger budget" vibe to it.

It's not a bad trailer per se, aside from Gyllenhall, but it just didn't tickle my fancy at all, and after seeing the trailer, I don't feel like I'll be missing much by skipping this.

I realize that Depp looks a lot younger than he is, but I'm not sure he could pass for about 24-25. You know they're hoping for sequels, and by the third film he'd probably be 50 years old.

I noticed that a long time ago. If I'm not mistaken (and please correct me if I am), they reserve the "Walt Disney" for animated features, and just "Disney" for whatever else.

I hope Jake will be more successful than Orlando Bloom. They seem to have the same make-over artist.

I have a feeling this one's gonna bomb hard. I've changed my initial inclination of "fun" to "terrible", as it looks like a formulaic piece of shit.

It's really not that different from the previous trailer. It has the same bullet points only taking a few seconds longer with each. And all adventure movies are formulaic.
