Notes on a Scandal. 7/10

Wonderfully acted, but the characters were pretty despicable. This movie perpetuates the theory that you're most likely to get an oscar nomination for looking terrible on film. I've never seen Judi Dench look so... haggard. There were some moments of comedic relief so the movie wasn't completely bleak.
