I actually love its depiction of the future - all that wonderful tech porn and fancy gadgetry - but the film itself just felt so hollow and cold. I caught some of it again on cable recently and had the same feelings as when I saw it in theaters. I never cared about the plot or characters, but it sure is nice to look at.

Well I'll be damned. The 3 tit lady is in it. Still, like Killer said, not feeling it.

Mmmm. My fantasy sex sandwich.

Biel looks a little different. Maybe some work? It took me awhile to realize that when I was watching Jimmy Kimmel the other night. Before, she was like 'the girl next door'. Now she's super-slim and had a little work done. Not like that's a bad thing...

Does the new Blu-Ray have movie money ? If not, I may hold off buying it for a while.

FWIW, Ebert gave it 3 out of 4.

BB's ad says it'll have movie cash, but people are speculating that it'll only be on the old edition. Naturally.

Re: Total Recall

Went to a free gofobo screening today. Altogether a terrible movie. The original is Lawrence of Arabia compared to this turd. The original had a diabolically evil Ronny Cox whereas Bryan Cranston has been reduced to barking one liners the whole movie. Ebert is right; there isn't a shred of humanity. The shoot-outs and the flying car chase are cliché from beginning to end.

Why am I not surprised. This looked like a shit sandwich from the get go.
I have no interest in seeing this and Len Wiseman shouldn't be allowed to direct traffic. But damn he married a hot piece of ass.

So did Paul W. S. Anderson.

In fact, based on all past examples, marrying a hot piece of ass should be proof that one cannot direct for shit.

I don't see her looking any different. Beckinsale on the other hands needs to stop loosing weight.

Rent the original.

BTW, for those who've seen it, does the film do its own take on the airport scanner xray scene? For some reason, that fx always stuck with me.

What? No Scott1598 Reviews thread?

I've had a long hard week at work, I think I will check this out this weekend. Either Saturday or Sunday.

Re: Total Recall

Just saw this. It was pretty unremarkable. Loved the three titted chick, though. Yes, they do show those puppies in all their glory.

Re: Total Recall

Was this supposed to have been in 3D at one point?

No movie money in the BR disc. If I can't see this for free, I think I'll just skip it altogether.

Re: Total Recall

Oh, and I have a feeling this will bomb big time. There were 3 people at my screening. Me and two other people.

I am shocked. Everything about this production and all of the trailers pointed to this being something truly incredible and groundbreaking. So disappointing to hear. I wonder if Terrell is as disappointed at this news as I am. Where is he anyways? This seemed to be his favourite thread not that long ago.

Not sure if you're serious or not. Every commercial and trailer I saw pointed to something devoid of heart and basically a paint by numbers remake.

Re: Total Recall

From a visual standpoint it pointed to some good technical aspects. From a feeling of everything given...i just don't see anything captivating.
