Re: Total Recall
I actually love its depiction of the future - all that wonderful tech porn and fancy gadgetry - but the film itself just felt so hollow and cold. I caught some of it again on cable recently and had the same feelings as when I saw it in theaters. I never cared about the plot or characters, but it sure is nice to look at.

Biel looks a little different. Maybe some work? It took me awhile to realize that when I was watching Jimmy Kimmel the other night. Before, she was like 'the girl next door'. Now she's super-slim and had a little work done. Not like that's a bad thing...

Went to a free gofobo screening today. Altogether a terrible movie. The original is Lawrence of Arabia compared to this turd. The original had a diabolically evil Ronny Cox whereas Bryan Cranston has been reduced to barking one liners the whole movie. Ebert is right; there isn't a shred of humanity. The shoot-outs and the flying car chase are cliché from beginning to end.

I have no interest in seeing this and Len Wiseman shouldn't be allowed to direct traffic. But damn he married a hot piece of ass.

Re: Total Recall
In fact, based on all past examples, marrying a hot piece of ass should be proof that one cannot direct for shit.

I don't see her looking any different. Beckinsale on the other hands needs to stop loosing weight.

I've had a long hard week at work, I think I will check this out this weekend. Either Saturday or Sunday.

I am shocked. Everything about this production and all of the trailers pointed to this being something truly incredible and groundbreaking. So disappointing to hear. I wonder if Terrell is as disappointed at this news as I am. Where is he anyways? This seemed to be his favourite thread not that long ago.

Re: Total Recall
From a visual standpoint it pointed to some good technical aspects. From a feeling of everything given...i just don't see anything captivating.
