the other Spidey threads were old and too long to search, so I made this for one question really. In the full trailer, Peter says "I need your help" to someone off-screen. Now I read rumors about a crossover of superheroes, what I heard was the Hulk was maybe in it. Or was this dialogue just added to not have any real significance? I was just wondering if the help was like "moral" support or that of help with defeating the bad guy. If it is the latter, I'd love to find out who it is. Maybe he makes peace with Harry, and gets his help as the new goblin? Maybe since Doc Oc redeemed himself after Spidey 2 he makes a return and helps out Spidey again? Maybe gets help from Fantastic 4? I think a cross-over of superheroes would be cool.

I'm pretty sure Doc Ock is unavailable after "Spidey 2"...but this IS a comics franchise, and folks come back from...ahem ....bad places ...in comics all the time.

Just wait until the movie is released, and go see it. Why try to analyze the entire story from viewing the trailer, and ruin it for yourself?

This 120 minute film already has 3 villians, 2 love interests, and 1 symbiote backstory.

I think adding the Fantastic Four would be a tad much.

Besides, Spider Man 2, the characters you mentioned are owned by different studios.

The way the trailer was laid out, I was thinking he was talking to MJ.
But, I don't know.

I hope he's talking to Bonesaw. The story would come full circle then and he'd team up with his first opponent as Spider-man.

He's talking to Batman...and a Predator. Then Robocop shows up. It gets real crazy.

Seriously, he was talking to Harry, in that scene. No cross overs, due to the fact that all the characters are spread out among different studios. Not to mention the cost of adding a CGI Hulk for a small scene like that.

I assumed he was talking to MJ, or maybe Gwen Stacy.

Yeah, Predator is there because the Predators created the symbiote and they want it back. The battle between Predator and Venom will be truly amazing. I have also heard rumors that at the end of the movie, the symbiote attaches to Robocop and takes him over, setting up RoboVenom as the biggest baddest villain ever for Spider-man 4.

Then in Spider-man 4, I have heard rumors that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will show up and help Spidey defeat RoboVenom. I also heard that Blade will even show up because he read an internet rumor that Spidey is actually a vampire. So expect a huge battle between Blade and Spidey.

i'll bet you wolverine is in this flick. i saw the trailer and spider-man's suit was torn up in one scene. the only person who can rip spidey's suit is wolverine. cuz spidey's suit is TOTALLY like superman's and wolverine's claws are adamantium so that means that only he has the power to cut up spidey's suit... duh

That scene's not even in the movie! That was a shot where Tobey Mcguire forgot his dialogue.

That got my brain going into overdrive. Superman is indestructible. If you hit him with something metal, the metallic object gets crushed or bent all to pieces. Well, Wolverine's claws are also indestructible. What would happen if Wolverine tried to stab Superman?
