Yeah, I didn't feel this one needed to be left unresolved. I enjoyed parts of the film throughout and maybe would have considered a purchase, but this really ruined it for me.

You are correct. The footage (Martin Kove, Pat Morita & Ralph Macchio in the parking lot after the match) was shot for the first KK, but not used in that film.

You could probably add this one to this list...although I haven't seen it I would assume the Zodiac movie will not have a resolution since there isn't one in real life
