I'm sure most everyone saw that the trailer was being shown in an ad here recently. Besides being Sam Jackson's second movie in a row with "snake" in the title, and the fact that Christina Ricci is looking pretty hot in the trailer, what does everyone think this movie has to offer?

Not much. Looks like a typical Jackson bomb to me. Beyond the exploitation feel, there is not much substance.

It got pretty good reviews at Sundance, and I look forward to seeing it if it gets released wide. Sam Jackson is supposed to be excellent in it, and I enjoyed Hustle & Flow so I'm there.

Yeah, I also tried dvdtalk's notoriously fucked up "search" and it came up with nothing too. Trust me there's one here. Looks like I'm alone here on this movie. It's one of the movies I'm looking foward to the most the first half of '07. While Sam Jackson is one of my least favorite actors, this looks like a good part for him. I thought Hustle & Flow was a great movie & Christina Ricci has always been one of the hottest girls in Hollywood to me & she looks insanely hot in this movie. Plus I think it has a great trailer & one of the best US one-sheets in recent memory (I've had it framed for a while now). So I can't wait for this one.

Christina Ricci in the trailer has this Resse Witherspoon thing going on, and I like it. She looks delicious.

I saw an advanced screening Tuesday night. Sam L was great, perfect role for him to bust out a few M F'ers like only he can do and yes Christinna was smokin' hot. I didn't really like the way they wrapped it up at the end but it did not take away from my enjoyment of the rest of the film. Great soundtrack too if you like Blues.
