Wasn't that whole thing a joke anyway? Even if Rob's somewhat serious about the notion, I think the big part of the joke WAS that Mel would never be in a movie with Rob in first place, so Rob can afford to make such a grand 'noble' gesture. I mean, he has lines like :

Even if Mr. Gibson offered me the lead role in Passion of the Christ 2, I, like Bernie Brillstein, would have to say 'NO!' Even if Mel had a juicy voice-over role in his new flick "Apocalypto", and I spoke fluent Mayan, I, like Bernie Brillstein, would have to say 'NO!'

That's because what he does isn't considered acting. I think he just wanders onto various sets from off the street and the producers just leave it in for shits & giggles.

Tim Allen (though I liked Galaxy Quest...it was a rare exception)
Julia Roberts (it took quite a bit for me to get over her horse face to actually watch Confessions of a Dangerous Mind but there are still movies I want to see I refuse to watch because she buttfuglified them.)
David Schwimmer
Matt LeBlanc
Roy Schneider

There was a time I would have said Leonardo DeCrapio but he did Catch Me If You Can and Departed....he might redeem himself yet, but I am leery of seeing anything he is in.

Julia Roberts
John Travolta
Nicholas Cage

Bill Murray - Not funny at all. My late grandmother ( May God rest her soul) was funnier than him.

Woody Allen - Boring just completely boring.

Chris Rock- Annoying.

Julia Roberts - An extremely overrated so called actress.

Woody Harrelson - Never liked him in Cheers.

Eddie Murphy - Richard Pryor wannabe.

Pamela Anderson - A no talent bimbo strumpet, wannabe porn star. She's not even a good amateur porn star. No wonder why Tommy Lee, and Kid Rock kicked her to the curb because she's too easy. Maybe this is how she got into show business, by using the old fashioned casting couch.

Alan Alda - Has he retired from acting? and if so, that was the best thing he ever done.

Beyonce - She can't act, and not much of a singer either. I've heard better.

I don't think there is an actor who would keep me away from a movie. If the movie looks interesting I will watch it. However with some of the people you guys listed they seem to be prone to choosing bad flicks, so if I'm undecided about a movie I may take into account the fact that they haven't impressed me in the past.

My interest in a movie overrides who's in it....

...but pressed for an answer I'd say Joan Cusack and Barbra Streisand

Jeez, some of you have lots of exclusions...

The only one for me is Julia Roberts. Can't. Stand. Her.

Will Smith ("Ahhh, hell no!!!")

Julia Roberts (I hate your life!)

They ruin (to some extent) everything they are in.

Fortunately for me I avoid most bad movies or my list
would be a lot longer. For example I have never seen
a film with Will Smith in it.

I'm still trying to figure out how someone could hate
ALL Woody Allen films though

Good point.

< Doesn't like Allen and avoided all his movies until Match Point came out. I actually liked it a lot. But I went back to avoiding his stuff right after that.

I assume you haven't seen Sleeper then?

I don't think he was in Match Point, so you get a free pass on that one, since this thread is about actors not directors.

Yeah, I saw it when I was a kid. Allen generally does nothing for me but like I said, Match point was a pleasant surprise.

He wasn't. But since you were talking about not liking Allen films I just added my 2 cents.

I honestly don't care for any movies that Woody Allen has either directed or starred in either.

Also don't care for:

Demi Moore
Chris Klein
Chris Tucker
