Richard Widmark or Robert Mitchum.

Not that I have any overblown adoration for the gentleman, but Christian Bale always seems to pick great movies to do.

I will see, and for the most part have seen, anything with Johnny Depp. (The exception being Platoon, which I own but haven't gotten around to watching, and some smaller roles.)
Also on the list, I'll usually see anything with these actors: Brad Pitt Tom Cruise Robert Downey, Jr. Edward Norton Paul Giamatti Shia LeBouf Ryan Reynolds Will Smith Morgan Freeman George Clooney Al Pacino Christian Bale Gary Oldman Michael J. Fox Leonardo DiCaprio Tom Hanks Jim Carrey Billy Crudup Hugh Grant Oh, why bother? The list goes on. I see a lot of movies. As far as actresses go, mainly Winona Ryder, Kirsten Dunst and Scarlett Johannson, because I am in love with all of them. Hardcore. It's weird because I used to avoid Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise until I saw them both in Interview With The Vampire and then managed to see every major movie they were in in the theatre since that was released until the year Troy and Collateral came out. I believe that was the same year too. I missed them both, although I did eventually see the latter, and will eventually see the former. K |

The last movie of his I saw in the theatre was John Q., although the trend started with Training Day and The Hurricane (I did eventually see the former). I'm pretty sure I've wanted to see every single movie he's been in since when I see the trailer, but for some reason, I just never do. I thought it would change last year with American Gangster, but it still didn't. Go figure. K |

There's nobody living that falls in the "must see actor" category for me.
