I'll take your list and rank my enjoyment of them . . .
1. Children Of Men
2. Casino Royale
3. The Departed
4. The Fountain
5. Borat
6. Little Miss Sunshine (although this wouldn't crack my top 20. Thought it was an okay movie with a hugely funny pay off that doesn't happen until the last 10 minutes or so)
7. Pirates 2 (really didn't like this at all. Enjoyed the original very much)
Didn't see Babel or United 93.

thanks for the non-inclusion of sundog's and my fave movies of the year
'Syndromes' and 'Lives' would qualify as (foreign dramas, the latter a little bit of a thriller).
