The last of 2006 was Dreamgirls and it blew me away. I have a very low tolerance for musicals and this surprise out of left field was very unexpected. I absolutely loved everything about the movie.
First of 2007 - I haven't seen anything as yet, but it more than likely will be Babel or Notes on a Scandal, I'm trying to catch both of them before they disappear from the local cineplex.
Blood Diamond is also a possibility. I missed both Little Children and The Queen, which vexes me, but my schedule just didn't allow for it.
