Jim Carrey- Number 23
The latest from Joel Schumacher. This looks like it's going to be Carrey's 'White Noise'. Meh.

Every time I see the trailer I have to watch it. It looks really good.

I'm a big fan of Jim Carrey and I love this genre, but Joel Schumacher is the kiss of death for a quality film.
I'll wait for the reviews but most likely this looks like a rental.

I love Jim Carrey and am a big supporter of him becoming a great dramatic actor.
But I fear he is now on the wrong path in choosing projects. Unless this film is really unique, I just don't see it as being anything spectacular for him as an actor/artist. And another good performance in a 'good' film sets him on the course to mediocrity.

What is weird is that for the longest time I had this movie idea dealing with seeing "Michael" and "Jordan" everywhere, similar to Jim Carrey's character. The movie ends with the protagonist hunting down Michael Jordan and trying to find out the truth.

Ditto.
Will probably go see this in the theater. I'm buying the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and it comes with a free movie ticket for this.

I'm not sure if any of you care, but you can click here to read the shooting draft of the screenplay.

I saw it the other night, went to the premiere. I kind of liked it. It's kinda sorta like Butterfly Effect meets Eternal Sunshine. I thought Carrey was ok in it and it was a little bit of a departure from his normal type stuff.

I think this could be a tight little thriller, something to bypass this nagging winter or it could be overplotted mess. Schumacher is hit or miss ala hit: time to Kill, Phone booth, Lost Boys; miss: BATMAN & ROBIN, so we'll see.
