Jeffrey Tambor and Stanley Tucci.

Not sure why, they don't look all that alike.

My wife cannot distinguish between Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, and Dustin Hoffman.

Yeah, I laugh at her all the time for that.

I know these are not Actors. But these two are very much alike. Also below are some clips to enjoy their music, both are mufti-instrumentalist

Dave Grohl & Emmanuel del Real

A little more obvious up close.

I used to think Henry Thomas was in "Saving Private Ryan"...

Tara Reid and Brittney Murphy. Invariably, each time I hear Tara Reid is in something, I think it is posthumous. Sharknado being the most recent.

They look nothing alike to me, but for whatever reason when Brittney Murphy died I guess I got it in my head that it was Tara Reid and my mind ran with it.

Re: Actors/Actresses you always get confused?

As mentioned up thread, Josh Duhamel and Timothy Olyphant.

As was also mentioned, Dylan McDermott and Dermot Mulroney. For me, I also confuse those two guys with Kyle McLachlan. No clue why.

Lastly, when I first saw Home Alone 2, I thought the toy store owner was played by Lloyd Bridges, rather than Eddie Bracken. When I rewatched it a few years ago, I was shocked it wasn't Bridges.

The ONLY laugh I got while watching The Campaign was during the end credits bit when Zach Galifianakis called Dylan McDermott's character "AKA Dermot Mulroney".

The fact that they used that joke makes me think the name confusion happens a lot between those two.

Re: Actors/Actresses you always get confused?

The first time I saw Monica Potter in a movie, I spent the entire movies thinking it was Julia Roberts with her hair dyed blonde. Even the voice is the same

Re: Actors/Actresses you always get confused?

I just saw a movie called Odd Thomas wherein the actress Addison Timlin I thought the whole time was Hayden Panettire. You can't tell by the photos on imdb though. Just found out that Addison has no problems doing nudity so that's a win.

Years ago Mulroney was on Conan joking about this, his claim was the big difference between the two was his being well endowed, the other not so much....

Hair aside...damned if young Alec Baldwin didn't look like Ryan Gosling.

Poor Alec...no wonder he's so angry now.
