What computer game was Josh playing in Big?

Josh was trying to kill a wizard in the beginning of the movie on his computer. I need to know what that game was I assume it is something off the shelf and not a made for the movie type game.

If anyone knows, I'd be so excited. I'm writing a thesis about adventure games and maybe how they relate to film.

Any other movies with adventure games in them (or perhaps based on them) might be helpful too!

thanks!

If it was off-the-shelf, you might want to check the movie credits to see if it's mentioned.

Pretty sure it was something worked up for the movie, not a real game available to consumers in the real world.

How about Cloak and Dagger or The Last Starfighter?

A screenshot would help.

I don't think it's a real game - I haven't been able to find anything about it being real online. Nor can I find a screenshot.

It looks kind of like a King's Quest. But other than that, I've got nothing.

Big was an 80's movie, so the graphics looked pretty good to me for the day.

It's been a while since I've seen the film, but from what I recall they were trying to ape King's Quest with a dummied up game (presumably to avoid paying for the rights, or because Sierra wouldn't pony up the bucks for product placement).
