Hot Fuzz
I'm surprised that there hasn't been a thread on this yet. It is being done Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg who also did the fantastic Shaun of the Dead. Hot Fuzz is a comedy/action film about British cops. Personally I can't wait for this one. Check out the first two teaser trailers here.

Hopefully another slice of fried gold from the Spaced boys.
I have total faith in them. They parody with an obvious love and respect for genre films, so the tone doesnt come off as mocking yet is still totally silly.

Can't wait until March.
Anyone know what the music at the beginning of the second teaser trailer is? It sounds really familiar (and I'm assuming it's from a cop movie).

Apparently the music was scored exclusively for the Lethal Weapon trailer:

Here is a link to an internet exclusive trailer that Edgar Wright edited himself and Robert Rodriguez scored!

Glad to finally see a thread for this. I've been watching the trailers and teasers for this nonstop at work.

Darn. I never noticed it.
Really? I wish it was out here by then. It's not like I'll be doing anything important that day.

Released today in the UK, Reviews have started rolling in:
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/hot_fuzz/
CHUD - 10 out of 10
"The movie, in many ways, is Agatha Christie getting triumphantly buttfucked by Michael Bay. With jokes. And more than a dash of genius."
Channel 4 Film Review - 4.5 out of 5
"Who'd have thought PC comedy could be so much fun?"
BBC - 4 out of 5
"A movie you'll still want to see again, if only to get all the mini-jokes."
Time Out - 4 out of 5
"It’s not a perfect template – running motifs are glaringly flagged up and there are at least two too many climaxes – but for both gags and thrills, few current British filmmakers come close."
Empire Magazine - 4 out of 5
"Even without the inspired idea of Shaun Of The Dead it’s an easy match for laughs, and marks Nick Frost as a vital part of this team’s appeal. The boys (now in blue) have done it again."
Total Film - 3 out of 5
"The first half’s a blast, but as the comedy/action/horror/parody piles up, Hot Fuzz cools down. Needs more of a short, sharp schlock."

I caught this the other night
, a top film.
Very funny.
Spent the whole film spotting the omages to other fims, it goes from Scream to Wicker Man to Bad Boys with Hard Boiled
and Point Break thrown in!! Obviouly a few Shaun Of The Dead references in there
Go and see when it's out over there
