What are some non-R1 Horror DVDs to buy?

Im on CDwow ordering the Descent (which has a kick ass cover compared to the US poster art). Are there any Non-region1 horror dvd releases that are superior to the US versions that I should pick up? OR are there any R1 unreleased horror dvds I should pick up. HEll, I'll even take DVDs with better packaging! Please give me some good recommendations!

The Phantasm Sphere set is cool looking. Not to mention that it has Parts 2 and 3 which aren't available in Region 1.

Not released in R1:
(R2)Santa Sangre
(R2)They Live (Carpenter/Piper commentary)
(R2)The (Original) Hills Have Eyes (Bonus disc includes the excellent documentary, The American Nightmare)
(R2)Martin (2-Disc)

Neat packaging:
(R2)Hellraiser puzzle box

There's also the Classic Monster Collection set from Germany

(Japan has a similar release)
But I don't know if both are still being sold.

There is also the digipack 5 disc set which half the price of the sphere set in case you want to buy the content, only cheaper. I have it, and it's a great set, one that will likely never get released in the US since the sequels are owned by different companies.

I've got a lot of non R1 horror DVDs -- check out my linked list in my signature. Not sure what's available from CDWow (which is usually tops for price but their selection can be spotty). Some of my favorites (I can't guarantee they're still in print though):

Blood on Satan's Claw (R2)
Ghostwatch (R2)
The Hitcher (tons more extras than R1) (R2)
Into the Mirror (R3)
My Little Eye (really good 2-disk SE) (R2)
Nos Miran (R2)
Santa Sangre (R2)
Wicker Man (has Christopher Lee commentary R1 is missing) (R2)
Witchfinder General (R2)
Repulsion (R2)
Day of the Triffids (BBC miniseries) (R2)
Quatermass Collection (R2)

The directors cut is also much easier to get in R2 as opposed to R1. And it's cheaper too.

I picked up the HK Region 3 release (on Universe) of a terrific Japanese movie ANOTHER HEAVEN. It starts off a bit like Seven, but then .....

the R4 version of Wolf Creek has extra special features not found on the R1. same goes for the R2 version of Undead.

the R4 version of Frighteners has an exclusive DTS track I think.
