Saw on TV in early 70s. Alien creature with long creeping piercing tentacle that could puncture car tires. Also killed cow with same tentacle.

There is a movie called Invasion of the Saucermen (1957) in black and white. No tentacles but sharp needle like finger nails. In one scene they puncture the tires of a car with them. In another scene two or three of them repeatedly puncture a farmer's cow. The needle like fingernails inject alcohol and the cow is drunk.
