Favorite Danny Elfman Score(s)?
I love most of Elfman's music and all of the Tim Burton movie scores, My two favorites are Beetlejuice and Pee-Wee's Big Adventure but if I had to choose one it's be Pee-Wee's Big Adventure.
Honorable mentions:
Midnight Run
Pee-wee's Playhouse

I think Danny Elfman is very talented, but to be quite honest, I think all of his scores end up sounding pretty much the same. It's gotten to the point where I can hear the beginning music of a movie and almost instantly recognize it as being his work. I don't know if that's good or bad, but there it is. I do like his work, overall.
I also think he's done too much good work in a wide variety of movies to be represented by the meager list of films in this poll.

I really like what he did with Article 99. I wish he could have captured more of that with Good Will Hunting, but it didn't work. To his more typical style, I've always enjoyed The Frighteners and must admit that I like his Batman work, particularly in the finale.

What's really amusing, I was watching the documentary on The Frighteners and has was making some comment along the lines of how there is occassionally some 'overlap' (although I don't think that's the exact word he used) between his scores

From what I recall, he only did "March of the Dead" for Army of Darkness and Joe LoDuca did the rest of the score.
My favorites are Edward Scissorhands, Darkman, and Batman.

I'm not a Danny Elfman fan at all (though I adore Oingo Boingo), so it's easy for me to go with a dark horse pick--though it isn't as good as the Jerry Goldsmith score for the 1968 version, my favorite Elfman score is his percussion heavy, no holds barred score for the 2001 remake of PLANET OF THE APES.

Mission: Impossible.
Just kidding.
Pee-Wee's Big Adventure is probably my favorite overall score. Batman Returns has grown on me over the years(although the movie is still mediocre at best). And the "Ice Dance" sequence in Edward Scissorhands still gives me chills when I hear it.

Scissorhands was his last great score (Well....last identifiable score, at least)
Still a big fan of Pee Wee's, but I gotta cast my vote for Batman.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is my pick. The story and art design are wonderful, but it's the music that provides the heart of this movie and made it an instant classic.

Wait! I changed my mind.
Danny Elfman's best score is Bridget Fonda.
