KILL BILL: 2 new films coming... Animation

SDCC '06: Tarantino Confirms More Kill Bill!

Yup, Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriquez are still on stage here at the San Diego Comic Con promoting Grind House but we just scored a bit of news you 'Kill Bill' fans are gonna freak over. Tarantino spilled the beans that once he finishes 'Death Proof' he will begin working on two more Kill Bill films! Both films will be animated - the first being a prequel telling the story of Bill, while the second will be a new Bride story (maybe the future plot that was rumoured?). Watch this spot for more news soon and check out 'Grind House' in April 6th in theaters everywhere.

So.....no "Inglorious Bastards"? Either/Or, both sound cool by me?

Anybody know what the hold-up with "Grind House" is?

Animation huh? Well now I won't even bother to flip to Cartoon Network when this comes in 30 years.

Oh yeah, he did bring this up. But it being QT and all, I figured it wouldn't happen regardless of anything till atleast 2020.

He also mentioned that the China Town project was going to start up after Grindhouse finishes up.

So where is that super-duper KB1 & 2 set, that everybody's been waiting for?

Add this to the list of..

Grind House.
Horror film.
Western.

What else? He is always going to make these movies but we rarely see them. I have to wonder if he ever really intends to do half the project he mentions.

Are they going to use the animated like they did in Kill Bill V.1?

When I read the thread title, that's the exact thing that came to mind. It'll probably be that gritty anime-style scheme.

I remember Tarantino stating he wanted Production I.G. to do some animated Kill Bill stories for him. If they follow through (they did the clip in KBv1, as well as Ghost in the Shell 2, Evangelion, etc; ) I'd be pretty happy.

So, not only is this going to come out in like 2010, but knowing Tarantino there's about a 20% chance of this happening.

BTW guys, "Death Proof" is his movie in Grind House, so at least he hasn't given up on that.

Following the style of KILL BILL I always felt that Q should've at least given us a cool epilogue in the future where Vernita Green's now older and pissed off daughter goes after The Bride and her kid for killing her mom. After all she did leave her alive and standing next to her dead mother's body. They could've added in Elle Driver as her Blind Sensei who somehow found the child and trained her since she would also be looking for revenge since The Bride never killed her.

He did in fact shoot a scene or 2 of this particular idea and planned to put it into "the cooler" for a number of years. Think he'll incorporate this footage into this new project?

Wonder if that scene with Gogo's sister will be done, ever.

I mean, yeah, a big gun battle on a beach, big deal, but it was supposed to be the psycho bitch from Battle Royale (
Spoiler:
the one that shot Chigusa/Gogo
)

And it would have resulted in the destruction of the pussy wagon. Something QT didn't want to destroy after all. So it's just not going to happen.

Could be worse, they could do it like Scanner Darkly style, which Charles Swabe commercials were done in first.
