If it's any consolation, the animal was only 2, was bare ass naked throughout the film, and dies from injuries that resulted from a rape.

Yeah, I think back in the old days, things like that weren't a big deal.

I think the 1958 jerry lewis movie, the geisha boy, had a bathroom scene where the boy was totally nude. also probably was another scene where the boy was nude in the superman movie.

Law & Order SVU has pretty much covered a lot of specific details on rapes and child abuse. Yet it's a popular mainstream tv show.

I think people are more offended by the nudity than the details, IMHO. Which is the difference between SVU and this.

Man, I thought the scene in War of the Worlds where Tom Cruise tells Dakota Fanning to stay in his sight when she goes to pee was sexy... then this news comes along!!!!

Wait, an animal is really being killed for the movie? I thought it was just fake killed in the movie. I hate that shit and if an animal is really being killed, that pisses me off far more that Dakota getting fake raped. I hope you guys followed that.

A noted scene includes the killing of a live monkey, which is then prepared and served to patrons of a gourmet restaurant. This scene, like many others, was faked.

There are few animals being killed onscreen - Apocalypse Now has shown one scene of animal being chopped its head off alive.

Oh, believe me I know about that and other films where it happens. I just wanted to know if an animal is truly being killed onscreen for this film like that other posted implied. Or maybe I just read his post wrong.

The original post says:

"The two taboos in Hollywood are child abuse and the killing of animals. In this movie, both things happen," said a source to the New York Daily News. "
But that doesn't mean that they're really going to kill any animals.

You're either an edgy forum comedian or someone who should seek the help of a psychiatrist. I'm not sure which, but I hope it's the former.

From that article:
The disturbing scene lasts a few minutes but is not graphic. There is no nudity, the scene is very darkly lit and only Fanning's face and hand are shown.

because the director was editing the film up until the last hour to take out offending bits and pieces.

Article forgets to mention that no one is buying it and it will most likely be direct to video.

They showed a clip on The Soup of some movie reviewer complaining that the scene in question wasn't as good as he'd imagined it.

I don't see how it could be.
