Clearly, this film is no longer a dissapointment :D

Well, there was much speculation it wouldn't reach that mark. Also, I've read a lot that Warner Bros wouldn't consider a sequel if it didn't make at least 200 million at the domestic box-office. We all know this is going to happen regardless now. I'm just glad to see it this number. And it nearly made that much worldwide too.

Bring on Superman 6 "The Rise of Super Fatherhood".

It would be great to see him take his son out to teach him how to be a real "Superboy". There can be some real humor and emotion with the 2 of them together. Superman could loose his anger when he sees his son threatened and almost ready to die.

Summer 2008.

The next Batman is coming out in 2008, 2009 is a more likely release date for the next Superman.

Yeah, as someone mentioned in that thread, this was pretty much a no brainer. And I'm quite sure the movie will soar on DVD.
