The trailer isn't put together that well (terrible score), but I think the movie will be fun. It doesn't look like it will be on par with the Dawn remake though, from what I can see.

I agree with this. The trailer showed A LOT of the movie too. That's usually a bad sign any way you spin it. It looks like this movie is going to show the origin of the outbreak. The scientists or whatever are responsible based on a quote. Maybe not... I'm skeptical and hope it's just a bad internet trailer.

That was terrible. I have never been so bored watching a trailer. It does look like a made for TV movie. I won't write the movie off yet, but that trailer better be a very poor showing of the whole film.

Agreed that the original Day of the Dead was nothing special, but this one looks crappy in a different way. Also, what is the deal with Ving Rhames character? Is he playing someone different from his character in Dawn?

The only thing funnier than Denise Richards as a rocket scientist is Mena Suvari as a Corporal in the Army.

Looks like a pile of shit. Man, I was hoping Zack Snyder and crew were going to do this because the Dawn of the Dead remake is one the best remakes I've ever seen, I love that movie. But this, Uwe Boll could have just as well directed it.

I read on the imdb message boards that the whole "worldwide epidemic" plotline was shitcanned for simple small town outbreak. Looks like everyone in this "remake" is in it for the paycheck and has no interest in outdoing the original.

Beware of massive spoilers. It looks to be about as good as people expected, which is to say not good at all. The character of Bud looks particularly awful.
