Hey guys, the Tiki Room is calling! We can have a bunch of wisecracking tropical birds that match every archetype in the book, and the plot line could be their journey to the "Sunshine Pavillion" as they escape a pet store and annoy people the whole way and maybe foil a robbery plot! We could have voices by Cheech Marin, Antonio Banderas, Chris Rock, and if we're lucky, Tommy Chong!
Think about it, Brother Bear brought the McKenzies back in some form, so Cheech and Chong could make an indirect comeback. One scene could have them escape a burning building and the Cheech and Chong birds could walk out of a "smoking room" coughing and waving. Get it?
I hope it doesn't happen.

You know, with the right amount of money invested and the right filmmaking team behind it, a Space Mountain movie could prove entertaining.

I remember thinking :WTF? at the end of that ride when I was just a kid. What in the world was the point of that part? Also, there were two alternate tracks your car could follow in my day, were there any variances on them?

Seriously, my mom and sister were in that point of the ride when there was a power outage at the park once. Imagining that really gives me the creeps.
You know that there is a potentially AWESOME horror film out there which would be titled "Disneyland: Ghost in the Machine."
Being trapped on a Doom Buggy in Haunted Mansion...or in one of the flumes on Pirates...falling into the submarine lagoon, esp. near the serpent or track...good old-fashioned nightmare fuel right there.
How about a movie on that secret club in Disneyland near New Orleans Square that controls the world.

Hey, while we're talking about an Indiana Jones movie ride, I'd really love to see a DVD release of a movie based on that kick-ass "Splash Mountain" ride.

But until then, bring on "Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln: Electric Boogaloo"!
Bring on "Team America: Grand Canyon and Primeval World"!
Bring on "Circarama: Watch This Movie, Get a Free TV!"
And bring on "Park-Hoppin': The Jackass Experience"!

Been there, done that. You would think that when the track stops they would stop the aninmatronics momentarily. Wrong!!! I have been in POTC when the boats get backed up too far, several times. Most of the time it was in the burning town, and you would be amazed at how much you can take in that you would miss on a swifter flow.

you guys forgot this movie based on a Disney ride...
sadly, the ride had already been torn down before the movie came out.
unless they have it at Disneyland, I only know Disney World

My thoughts on Pirates 2 (sorry about this, but I did a search and couldnt find the review thread).
Pirates of the Carribean 2 - 3/5
I did enjoy this - exciting and thrilling in places and the action - including a giant kraken sea monster, and a sword fight while rolling on a wheel - is great.
As before with the first film, Johnny Depp is hilarious in it, with some great delivery and humour - and seems to hold the film together when he is the focus, unlikely Bloom or Knightley - the problem is that the story meanders - Gore Vebinski admitted that he made this film with an unfinished script - and Depp is in the film not nearly enough IMO. Its like I was waiting for the next action scene to occur all the time.
At 2.5 hours, its a bit too long and I found myself getting restless towards the end - and also
This is a shame as the first film worked perfectly by itself.
But it does make you want to see Pirates 3 I guess, which was the plan all along.
