That is a pretty good list, and I agree with all but Insomnia (if you are talking about the remake)

Would like to add

Remember the Titans
Leon the Professional
Alladin
Brazil
All About Eve (Possible that a winner of best picture is underrated)
The Philadelphia Story (see above)

1. Heist

Most have labeled this movie as garbage but I loved it. The dialogue was unrealistic but I thought there were so many clever lines. Gene Hackman is a favorite of mine which also helps.

2. Narc
3. Primal Fear (just doesn't get enough credit as Norton's other movies)
4. The Machinist
5. Matchstick Men (Yea, I fell for the twist)
6. The Devil's Advocate
7. Donnie Brasco (Imo, The best performance by Johnny Depp)
8. Glengarry Glen Ross (popular on the net but more people have to see this)
9. The Long Kiss Goodnight (fun action movie with Sam Jackson's over the top acting making this movie better than it should have been)
10. Basic

I agree, I think it was the last Disney film where the music score and songs were powerful and the definate highlight of the film.

that's because Will Patton was so much better than Denzel Washington... ;) He even was the best thing about the recent 'The Punisher'.

I can give you 4 for now...

The Salton Sea
Running Time
Narc
The Mosquito Coast

Depends on your definition of "underrated". The meaning could either cover a) films that were sliced and diced by critics that the poster thoroughly enjoys, b) wonderful films that the poster believes should be in the hall of fame as "classics", yet aren't currently, c) films that the poster enjoys that others think they're nuts for liking, and d) probably a few other definitions.

I'm going to take a crack at option A and list the films that I thought were very good to excellent that critics didn't think as much of:

My Top 10 Critically Misunderstood Films (RT < 60%, so "rotten"):
1. Vanilla Sky (~38%)
2. Man on Fire (~39%)
3. The New World (~59%)
4. Elizabethtown (~28%)
5. Bedazzled (~46%)
6. Stay (~27%)
7. Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (~51%)
8. The Village (~42%)
9. Death to Smoochy (~39%)
10. Great Expectations ('98) (~37%)
