The Others.

Most of the recent 'horror' movies I can't stand(The Ring, for example), but I love 'The Others'. Although I admit it's damn predictable, but it doesn't take away from the enjoyment I had of watching it.

Those films any good? Noshame is a great company and the box seems to be of their usual high quality, but how are the films?

The films are great if you are into the whole giallo genre. The filmography and the vivid coloring they use are amazing. It is quite an amazing boxset. As a whole I would give the packaging, etc. a 9/10. The Red Queen figure that comes in the boxset just plain kicks ass. As for the films themselves:

The Night Evelyn Came Out Of The Grave:This is a great film but it is quite predictable. Everything else makes up for the predictability though and the ending is quite excellent. 9/10

The Red Queen Kills 7 Times: I was a little dissapointed with this one after watching Evelyn, but it is still an enjoyable film. I also enjoyed the ending of this film. 8/10.

I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was going to be rubbish and Harry Knowles' quote on the cover didn't inspire much confidence but I'm glad I saw it. Some dodgy parts, some funny parts but overall an interesting take on zombies.

Willard is an awesome flick. I've owned it for nearly a year now. Thanks to Scott here, think I'll go and watch it again tonite.

I just recently caught up with 'Marebito'. Wow. Just superb. I love Shimizu's work and this creeped me out big time. (I watched it late at night, alone with headphones on..... IMHO the only way to go when watching a horror film at home).
