Yay. I registered a long time ago but never posted. Now I have a reason to! I think this subforum is a great idea... I won't have to wade through pages of people's opinions on obscure foreign films that I don't care about to read what I want.

I hope everyone's enjoying the new digs here at the DVD Stalk forum. We had a bit of a bumpy start, but I think now we're in a much more natural (and free-flowing) area of the forums. Feel free to chat it up about ALL things horror.
And keep coming back here as well, as I plan to use this forum to post cool info and news bits from around the world of horror.
Keep stalkin'!!

This sub-forum is still around?!?
Y'know, it has served me one purpose. I used to think I was a horror film buff, and often told people that. But, having read many of the threads herein about (IMNSHO) crappy splatterfest flicks, I realize that I'm a fan of good movies, regardless of genre, and that many of them just happen to be of the horror/suspense genre. Not every horror film is good; in fact, I wouldn't waste time with most of 'em (well over 90%, I'd guesstimate). But there are several true classics.

I personally love this sub-forum, even if it gets very little attention. I was mad excited when I got the first edition of DVD Stalk in my e-mail and when it went along and became a reoccuring thing, I was happier than ever. I hope this never leaves! Just because it may not get as many hits as the main forums doesn't mean it should go, it's not hurting anybody being here. Probably my favorite section of the the forums. Keep up the good work DVD Stalk!

So anything in regards to horror films HAS to be posted here now?
I just posted AICN's 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre:the Beginning' review......If it was posted in the movie section I guarantee it would get more hits and responses.
But I'll follow the rules.....if indeed these are the rules.
This sub-forum for the most part, seems like a barren wasteland.

We need to make 2007 the Year of the Zombie. Hell Marvel Comics is doing it.
BTW, have you seen Mad Cowgirl. It co-stars Walter Koenig (Mr. Chekov) as a preacher and it's about a homicidal woman on a rampage due to Mad Cow disease. Scary stuff!
