Halle Berry wants an X-Men 4?
Just saw this on Superhero Hype...

Anyone surprised that she's the one championing yet another sequel?

when Halle Berry won for "Favorite Female Action Star" at the People's Choice Awards on Tuesday night, she called out to X-Men fans. Here's a good summary of what she said from XMenFilms.net:
"I had no idea you guys loved Storm so much! Wow, thank you, thank you. And I want to thank Tom Rothman for allowing me to play Storm, and Brett Ratner for allowing Storm to finally use her cape and fly this year." said Halle Berry at yesterday's People's Choice Awards.
"But I have something to ask you guys. You guys really love X-Men? Ok, here's what you have to do. Write letters. Every one of you in this building who love X-Men and want to see X-Men 4, write a letter to Tom Rothman at Fox and tell him so and you will get another one, and I'll be there too."

Interestingly, I found none of the X-Men films to be worth re-watching.
X3 was like dating Mystique only to have her morph into Fred J Dukes while you're doing the horizontal mambo.

Wow. I'd sure love to see some support for that opinion. Why do you think that...or are you kidding?

Well I guess I'm in the minority that feels part 3 is the best, but I wouldn't go so far as to say part 2 was very poor. (I think part 2 serves as a great second act in a trilogy.)
I feel a lot of the complaints people have with the third can be easily attributed to the first as well, but for some reason no one sees these "flaws" if Bryan Singer is credited as the director. Only if the director's credit goes to Brett Ratner does everyone pull out their carving knives.

With or without Halle more comic book movies is always good. I realize a lot of you fanboys/Halle haters get your BVD's all bunched up and your zits start popping because you can't everything you want the way you want it in your Comic movies... you'll just have to get over it. Halle, bitch or not, was part of a huge franchise that has the potential to be milked for years to come. No one needs to be reminded that Wolverine and Magneto movies are in the works.

I thought the third one was weak. It really had an anti-climatic ending for me. All this lead up to really nothing for me. Plus having the phoenix in the movie felt out of place. The x-men cartoons were so good that this movie I guess just let me down.

I never understood the rabid hate for Berry. A lot of people say that she somehow stole the show in X3 which seems like total bs and even if she did, that probably wasn't her doing, more like someone from the higher-ups as they wanted Jackman to have a bigger part too.
I'm definitely set for another X-men movie whether Berry is in it or not.

I'm a comic fan so MORE comic movies, specifically Superhero movies, sounds good to me.
