I hope the beautiful Sienna Guillory has as much screen time as she did in 'Apocalypse'

That sounds kind of lame.

Of course, these movies weren't very good to begin with.

Of course, I keep watching them. I can't help myself, it's zombies and Resident Evil.

The first 2 had good and bad points but overall it's been a fun series. Count me in for 3.

The first one was decent...but the second one is one of the worst movies I've ever seen (not an exaggeration).

Can't say that I'm looking forward to this.

Here I thought the second film was better than the first. I'd see a third, though not in the theater.

Me too. I think these are some of the worst films I've ever enjoyed. Maybe it's Milla.

Count me in as one of the RE fans who tolerated the first but despised the second. Until I see some footage that changes my mind, I doubt I'll be watching this one theatrically.

I actually had the opposite effect. I hated hated HATED the first and enjoyed the second to some degree. They have their flaws. Atleast the second provided some fan service from the games.

I enjoyed the first, but found the second to be mostly bad (although somewhat enjoyable). The second was such a missed opportunity. I could really care less about fanservice, especially when it is implemented so poorly. Actually, I think the first was better off staying far away from the games.

Hopefully three is a rebound. It really just has to be better than the second. I'm sure I'll see it either way.

I enjoyed both films in spite of their glaring flaws. If Sienna Guillory is back, I'll be a happy camper. And seeing her and the gorgeous Ali Larter will definitely make it watchable.

Of course they are. The first one made over $100mil, so that pretty much guarantees a sequel nowadays and the Japanese original has a sequel as well, so they'll just crib off that.

'Resident Evil: Extinction' in Theaters NEXT September...

Sony Screen Gems has announced a September 7, 2007 release date for Resident Evil: Extinction, which stars Mike Epps, Milla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory, Oded Fehr, Iain Glen, Debra Marshall, Ashanti Douglas, Ali Larter and Chris Egan. In addition this Saturday, July 29th on SPIKE TV, a new episode of 'Gamehead' will be on set of the film and talk with Milla Jovovich and director Russell Mulcahy. 'El_renegado89' writes in that it's also rumored that they will show a special clip of the movie during the show. Milla Jovovich is back as Alice, and she's running with a new pack of humans, leading a caravan that's cutting through the Nevada desert on a long trek to Alaska. Hunted by the minions of the perpetually scheming Dr. Isaacs, Alice has zombies hungry for her flesh (once again) and lab rats hungry for her blood -- while Alice is hungry for only one thing: revenge.

So they are going the Land of the Dead route? Hmm, would have thought Re4's story would have taken over instead, just sub Alice in Leon's place.
