No, well maybe. But see, mannish chicks don't bother me. I'm just not feellin' this Mitra chick. She's not that attractive to me. I'll also admit that the fact that Doomsday sucked didn't do her any favors.

But like I said, hopefully her "Sonja" role will change this for me. I actually care about the Underworld franchise.

I'll check this out. I liked the first one; thought the second one was better. This looks to be a little more in line with the 2nd one, so that can only be a good thing.

Saw the trailer over the weekend.

I hadn't looked up any information on the movie since Beckinsale wasn't on board for the film. Really enjoyed the first two films.

After seeing (and liking) "Doomsday", I think Rhona Mitra will be a great addition to the series.

Having Sheen and Nighy back in addition to Mitra will have me there opening night.

The Rise of the Lycans comics from IDW and book novelization by Greg Cox will be out soon. The previous novelizations were very well done. If you like spoilers, you can read the first chapter here:

I read the graphic novel and the Rise of the Lycans Greg Cox novelization and the story is good, so the movie should be fine. I guess the previous Red in Tooth and Claw comics and the Blood Enemy novel are considered canon now.

That would be Rhona Mitra. She was the first official Lara Croft model (supposedly she was subsequently fired because she became more popular than Lara herself), she was in the final seasons of The Practice and a few seasons of Boston Legal, and starred in Doomsday.

She looks just like Kate to me, I would not have known it wasn't her until I read this thread. I bet many will think it is her as well. So not having Kate in this movie probably won't mean a thing as far as Box Offices goes. I like the first two but this looks horrible.

Even with Rhona Mitra as the lead, I think this will do decent box office. Maybe 40-50M tops.
