I agree. I'd add Vangelis' score for 1492 as another one.

A boring, fairly uninteresting (though pretty to look at) film with one of the damn finest movie scores I've ever heard.

Although I personally love both the film and score, I think people would consider ID4 in this category.

David Arnold's score for it turned me into a film music fan.

Shock Treatment. I dunno why, but I love the songs from it. They're like an 80s music version of Rocky Horror. The movie itself is pretty terrible, but I have an affection for Jessica Harper in it.

Plunkett & Macleane. A disappointing film with a fantastic Craig Armstrong score.

Vampires was just an average movie in my opinion, but the score rocked.

Strong agreement there. Love Armstrong's work.

Another flick in this category might be Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure, although I personally think the movie is Excellent!

Star Trek V. Crappy film, but it had a damn fine Jerry Goldsmith score.

Two great soundtracks, two not so great movies (although I do enjoy them both as guilty pleasures).

I'd also like to add that Jerry Goldsmith got robbed at the Academy Awards for his Star Trek: The Motion Picture score. Ilia's Theme is one of the best musical pieces I've ever heard in a movie.

The Players Club

Terrible movie, but if you like rap it is an awesome soundtrack.

Agree with "Threesome" (unwatchable mess). I also liked the soundtracks to:

"The Craft"
"Cool World"
"Magnolia"
"Cruel Intentions"
"Showgirls" of all things (with music by Bowie, Siouxsie, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, No Doubt).

I liked He Got Game, but the Public Enemy Soundtrack was better.
