I will not attempt to create the term for these "Urban Spin" remakes. And it is.... "B-make" eh.. I guess I'm not really impressed either.. Plus this thread is old which I've just realized.. yeah....

I'm sorry, but to me, the casting does make sense.

Mr Kotter is a former gang member who has gone straight and teaches the current generation of his own former gang.


Ice Cube is a fine choice for a former gang member.
